Build a career you can be proud of.About the Role:Location: West MelbourneOnsiteAs a Commercial Analyst, you will provide commercial insights and recommendations through financial interpretation and quantitative reporting across our customer network.
Your work will enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness, ensuring optimal performance for our valued clients.You will also partner with business development and operational teams to support the growth and evolution of customer contracts, contributing to improved financial outcomes for the business unit.If you're an aspiring Accounting and Finance professional seeking full exposure to reporting requirements across key contracts, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Deliver commercial analysis and advice to support cost-effective, productive logistics solutions.Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive better operational and financial outcomes.Develop, automate, and maintain internal commercial reports, including:RevenueIntermodal and PUD CostsContainer Movements and CostsSite Operating CostsFuel, Wages, and Agency StaffRise & Fall / Diesel Fuel SurchargesFleet CostsAudit financial and operational data to minimise revenue leakage and cost overruns:Sales Order Creation and CompletionFinancial Cut-OffsMaster Data Accuracy (Rates, Fuel Levy, Rise & Fall)About You:You're a detail-oriented Accounting and Finance professional with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
You communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.You bring:A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field.2–3 years' experience in mid to high-tier consultancy firms (highly desirable).
Proven experience in commercial or financial analysis roles.Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.Analytical capabilities including modelling and data summarisation.Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Why Linfox?
