**About the Role**

**Key requirements of the position are**:

- Ability to liaise with staff across all levels of Council.
- Ability to manage time and plan and organise work.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a busy and dynamic work environment where the number and nature of tasks may change at short notice.
- Ability to gain cooperation and assistance from clients, members of the public and other employees of Council to efficiently conduct the activities and administration of well-defined activities within the Records Management Unit.
- Skills in written and verbal communication to enable the preparation of routine correspondence and reports if required.
- An understanding of the relevant technology, procedures and processes used within a records management function, preferably within the local government sector
