Our client GJI Group, is a growth business that has a new role due to expansion. They are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join their Head Office located at Cannon Hill.
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for general administration, accounts payable and receivable.
This is a fast-paced role which requires a motivated and independent person who is happy to learn on the job, ask questions and take ownership of their tasks.
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administration support (including data entry);
- Basic accounts receivable and payable;
- Support the reception during breaks
- Respond to general customer, supplier staff, and payroll inquiries;
- Maintain HR systems and company records.
**Skills and experience**
To be successful in this role you must possess:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar accounts administration role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage one’s own time and self-motivate
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous experience using Xero highly desired
