**About our Opportunity**
We're looking for a sales hunter to join A&L as a Territory Account Manager to develop new business opportunities and maintain current customer relationships. The role will predominantly be on road as you strategically canvas new business opportunities targeting new customers as well as engaging with current customers in South East Melbourne. You will diligently plan, organise and carry out selling activities that will enable you to exceed your sales targets.
In addition, you’ll:
- develop product and industry knowledge
- strategically execute business development initiatives to generate sales leads and exceed sales, margin and quote KPI’s and targets
- actively source and develop new accounts while servicing existing clients
- provide accurate forecasts of territory sales monthly
**About You**
We’re looking for an experienced sales hunter within the construction industry ideally along with technical aptitude to understand our products. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships will be a must along with your capability to negotiate, close deals, combined with your ability to proactively find and develop new business will be key to your success in this role. Seeking a self-motivated, results focused sales professional with a strong service ethos.
You also need:
- windows and doors knowledge, highly advantageous
- team collaboration and the ability to manage work independently
- strong people skills with the ability to liaise with a range of people at different levels
- ability to understand the technical product, regulatory and industry knowledge requirements
