Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced
**Retail Leasing and Development Coordinator **to work directly with the senior leadership team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end project management and planning of new stores, maintenance, refurbishments, and visual merchandising concept implementation within this thriving national retail operation.

**The role**
Responsibilities of this role will include acting as the main point of contact for retail centre owners and developers/agents, designers, shop fitters, third party contractors and statutory authorities. Working with design consultants and architects to develop fit out designs in line with corporate branding and standards. Along with overseeing all tenancy coordination such as security, IT and cleaning services you will ensure standards and safety are maintained, work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure the instore experience meets and aligns with the objectives and story.

This role would suit a previous tenancy coordinator, commercial real estate agent, project manager or developer.

**Experience required**:

- Retail development project management with proven knowledge and experience in the interpretation of design and construction concepts and plans.
- Experience within commercial property and retail, along with a strong understanding of operations, retail leases and negotiation
- Experience with financial and budget management
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong engagement and collaboration skills
- A skilled negotiator
- Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety
- Confident and articulate communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within all levels of the business from retail stores to head office
