**Job description**

As an Activities Coordinator your role will be to design, coordinate and implement physical, recreational, and leisure-based activities to support our Wellness Support Programs to a range of new and existing clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate and assess clients’ abilities, needs, interests and strengths.
- Discuss and understand the specific needs of clients, Carer, and health professionals.
- Plan, coordinate and implement each individually designed Wellness Support Programs - Focusing on the development of their physical well-being, mind and emotional well-being and social well-being.
- Present and communicate effectively to clients, Carer, and support workers each individually curated Wellness Support programs.
- Report, assess and provide feedback for each individual Wellness Support programs
- Adapt to changes and new developments to ensure the continued suitability of the Wellness Support Programs to match clients’ needs.
- Research and maintain knowledge of various resources and facilities available within the local community
- Organise leisure and recreational activities for clients.
- Utilise various communication skills and tools, to encourage and support clients to take part in the activities planned.
- Provide skills and development training, employment support, mentoring and guidance to both staff and clients.

**Experience and Qualification required**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Minimum Certificate IV) in health or welfare services
- At least 2 years’ experience in related field
- Strong organisational skills to coordinate and manage assigned clients and their health professionals.
- Strong communication skills to deliver outstanding service to clients, Carer, support workers and stakeholders.
- Proactive and motivated to help retain existing clients and recruit new clients.
- Able to bring new ideas for business growth and improve efficiency (to operate under the new “COVID-19 Normal” restrictions) when coordinating support and managing events.

We are offering $63,000/year plus super
