Our client is seeking an outstanding Senior Accountant /Business Services Manager to lead their Logan City team. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner who works between offices you and your team will be responsible for servicing a wide portfolio of business clients with turnovers up to 20+ million.

Established over a decade ago this firm is growing steadily. They operate from three offices in Brisbane CBD, Logan City and North Brisbane.

The firm is led by two dedicated Partners and is well staffed by outstanding professionals in their field.

They offer a comprehensive range of services for business clients including tax and business advisory, consulting, wealth creation asset protection, SMSF and financial services.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Due to personal reasons their Business Services Manager is leaving hence there is a vacancy for a Senior Accountant / Business Services Manager to manage the Logan City accounting division.

Your role will primarily be to efficiently servicing existing accounting clients as well as to lead, manage and develop a small team of Junior and Intermediate Accountants.

Together with other division leaders you will be responsible for servicing the firm’s client’s multifaceted needs and expand the business via providing superior client service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Engaging with clients to address their tax, tax planning and compliance needs
- Generating a range of tax-related documents, including Tax Return types, Annual Reports, and Activity Statements for various entities
- Managing communications and interactions with the ATO on client-related affairs.
- Team supervision and development
- Collaborating with partners to assist with business growth

**EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Minimum of five years' experience within an Australian Chartered or Public Accounting firm
- Demonstrated expertise in business compliance and advisory
- Hold an Accounting / Commerce or similar degree
- CA or CPA or IPA qualified or near qualified
- Experienced with leading mentoring and training Junior Accountants
- Experience in managing and expanding a client portfolio
- Skilled in various accounting software (Xero, HandiSoft, QuickBooks, MYOB, BGL, etc.)
