
Business Services Manager

**PRIMARY ROLE**
The primary purpose of the role is to support the Chief Operating Officer on day-to-day business, administration financial and operational activities. This includes project management, contract management, human resources administration, business process improvements, change management, ad hoc and routine analytical reporting and any other relevant duties.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Production of relevant management reporting information, as the need arises. This might include feasibility studies, market surveys or business and financial reporting for senior management.
- Make recommendations for business improvement, including executing and coordinating documentation for submissions for change/approval.
- Complete administrative, financial and operational change management assessments for business units as required, including stakeholder engagement and consideration of appropriate mitigations for any potential negative impact or business interruptions.
- Contract management administration. This includes being the initial point of contact for contractual matters and to manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Provide Human Resources Management support. This includes complex resource management issues and maintenance of employee records, preparation of job descriptions, inhouse training, onboarding process, recruitment, employee support and other HR related activities.
- Provide project management support. This might include administrative, financial, physical and staff resources projects around new company initiatives, systems upgrades, processes re-engineering and improvements.
- Report and produce analytics including preparing routine and ad-hoc reports, presentations and responses to ensure stakeholders receive relevant accurate and timely information.
- Assist with the Internal communication process across the company.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective flow of information.
**COMPETENCY / JOB SKILL ATTRIBUTES / REQUIREMENTS**
- Skills/Experience required_
- Strong experience in business support role and/or in office management role (at least 5 years)
- Business management expertise and experience
- Financial / industry experience (bank experience will be highly relevant)
- Expertise in the use of modern technologies
- Ability to coordinate business development research.
- Strong skills in working with people and human resource management.
- Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost and consider business risks.
- Ability to review the procedure for support and to pinpoint opportunities to develop efficiencies within the business.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong ethical behaviour and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
- The ability to think strategically and take a long-term approach whilst acting on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to improve systems and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial data.
- The ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong systems skills including advanced excel.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
