**Will you actively create a healthier future for tomorrow?**
At Medibank we’re encouraged to think big. We have a clear purpose to impact better health outcomes for our customers, patients and our community.
We celebrate diversity of thought because we want to make better decisions for our customers. As we work towards our goal of better health for better lives, we value the knowledge and contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.
**The Role**
At Medibank, we’re asking the ‘What if’ questions and experimenting with ways that we can reinvent work to create more joyful and meaningful experiences. We’re breaking boundaries and challenging thinking when it comes to where and how we work and are passionate about becoming Australia’s healthiest workplace.
As the People Development Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering people development solutions and activities across Medibank aligned to our core capabilities, supporting ability to work in autonomous teams. We are looking to reinvent work, which means creating something custom for the organisation. Different teams work in different ways as we serve our customers differently so there won’t be a one size fits all approach that will work for everyone. The role will design and facilitate development activities and partner with squads, the Talent, Culture & Capability Team and PC&S.

- Influencing, educating and managing key stakeholders including senior leadership teams across the business.
- Actively promoting and driving creativity, joy and wellbeing in consultation and investigation of options to deliver solutions and outcomes to business
**About you**
You’re an experienced and creative OD professional, with extensive experience in people development within a large, complex organisation. You will be comfortable working in an adaptive, and fast paced environment, learning as you go.
You’ll be degree qualified within the areas of Human Resources or Organisational Psychology and will have proven success in building and supporting the implementation of initiatives that enable an agile and diverse workforce and delivery of organisational strategy.
**Must have skills**
- Demonstrated success in the scoping, design, development and implementation of people development or OD programs is essential
- Strong interest and background in people development and creating a culture of learning in the flow of work
- Prior experience working in a highly autonomous teams model

- You will look for ways to evolve our development offering, finding ways to bring this to life into each touchpoint of our culture and employee experience.
- You recognise that culture isn't just one person's job to do, but you will live and breathe it and look for more ways to cultivate it, every day.
- You take a creative approach to problem solving and enjoy the experience of testing and learning.
- You have a willingness to learn and to share insights and experience from your hard-earned wisdom
- You have a generous sense of humour and don't take yourself, or others too seriously.
