As the People Advisor for our Infrastructure team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Business Partner to provide operational People advice, coaching, and guidance to managers across the assigned business area.
This is a true generalist role; you will contribute to the delivery of a range of employee lifecycle functions, furthering the objectives within the People Strategic plan, whilst partnering closely with our Business, HR BPs, and Talent Leads. Specifically, the role will benefit from you possessing a strong Learning & Development background, as well as a genuine curiosity for supporting new ways of learning and developing for our employees.
You’ll be a trusted advisor for our business, having the opportunity to inspire, support, and enable employees to realise their personal and career aspirations, using your design and strong facilitation skills to deliver on a range of learning initiatives, including individual and team capability development.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Facilitate and deliver creative, innovative, and effective learning programs to build employee and organisational capability.-
- Supporting managers in relation to cyclical HR activities, such as the talent management process, capability development planning, mid-year reviews and end of year performance review process.-
- Supporting any operational work reviews and organisational change processes.-
- Providing advice on employee relations matters including performance management, enterprise agreement interpretation, and conduct issues within designated groups.-
- Creating relationships with the People Centres of Excellence including L&D, Workplace Relations, Talent, and Medicals, to resolve employment enquiries and support continuous improvement initiatives.-
- Be part of the People team, and be responsible for continuing to develop a positive organisational culture, aligned to our values and which fosters accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.**About you**:
- Able to build strong and trusting relationships at all organisational levels.-
- Able to deliver/facilitate Learning and Development programs to a high quality.-
- Demonstrated experience in providing input into the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet business needs.-
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to persuade and negotiate with stakeholders.-
- Solid organisational, planning, and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.-
- Strong data, technical, and analytical skills, with the ability to review data and present it in a format that tells a story to the business.-
- Relevant qualifications in either an HR or Business/Commerce field.-
- Previous experience in an HR generalist role, including providing advice to stakeholders on a broad range of People matters.**Ready to apply? Great**
