Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS4 Complaints Officer for a full time, 12 month temporary assignment to commence ASAP from our Client's Geelong CBD office, with flexibility to work from home on occasion
**Your new role**
As the APS4 Complaints Officer, you will support the coordination of complaints received by our Client, including resolving at point of entry, assessing, recording and referring as required. Further responsibilities include:
- Contacting relevant stakeholders to confirm receipt of referred complaints and gather information
- Escalating complaints in accordance with established complaint handling processes
- Contributing to record keeping activities to ensure team records are accurate and current
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing and reporting functions to the branch as needed
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed as the APS4 Complaints Officer, you will need:
- An ability to action items of a sensitive and confidential nature
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain organised
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Excellent administrative skills; record keeping, creating correspondence
- Australian Citizenship
