I have partnered with a large Federal Government Agency in Geelong CBD who is seeking an APS4 Project Officer.
- Temporary | ASAP start | 18 months with the potential to extend
- Full time hours | Monday to Friday | 37.5 hrs per week
- Work from home flexibility | 3 days in the office, 2 from home

**Your new role**

Reporting into the APS6 Project Officer, the APS4 Project Officer, will provide operational and administrative support within the National Remote Services Branch.

Responsibilities may include:

- Supporting the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
- Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
- Assisting with research and analysis on relevant project activities.
- Assisting and supporting regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Assisting in drafting project documentation for review by senior staff.
- Assisting with monitoring project budgets, reporting on expenditure and reconciling payments.
- Building rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS4 Project Officer, you will have:

- IT proficiency including MS Office, data entry and data analysing, reporting
- Experience in providing administrative or project support
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise and excellent time management
- Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously
- A can-do, positive and friendly attitude
