**Claims Specialist Transition Support Office I Personal Injury - Melbourne, VIC**

We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Specialist Transition Support Office to join our team in Melbourne. The role will be responsible for instructing, coaching and supporting Case Managers who are new to the Victorian Workers Compensation industry, and to ensure the engagement and retention of during the development of their case management careers.

**Important to your success**:

- Develop, implement and maintain a coaching and review program that provides each new case manager with the knowledge required to become competent in their role
- Support the development of case managers, including knowledge, systems and process understanding.
- Perform continuous assessments of case managers claims portfolios monitoring it s state and ensuring work undertaken is prioritised in line with agreed service and work completion standards
- Undertake work tasks that are required to be completed within agreed service levels to ensure the portfolio remains up to date, and the transitioning case managers are not overwhelmed by increasing work volumes
- Engage other areas of the business to support identified improvement needs as they are
- arise.

**About You**
- Experience in claims management and a comprehensive technical and service knowledge of the Victorian Workers Compensation Scheme.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise team tasks and manage competing resource and demands
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential, within a flexible working environment, both in person and virtually, with experience motivating and influencing others
- Ability to display leadership qualities through role modelling and through effective feedback and communication
- Demonstrated excellence in the use of relevant systems and a thorough knowledge of case management processes and procedures.
