**About the Role**

In this role, you will work with and learn from experienced consultants across a range of built heritage services. No 2 jobs will be the same. You will take up new projects, undertake research, and get hands-on experience in significance assessments, listings, fabric analysis, report writing, and project management.
You will also participate in fieldwork including site inspections and on-site client meetings.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Appropriate degree (heritage conservation, architecture, planning, history, cultural heritage studies, as appropriate),
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Punctual
- Accurate and detail orientated with the ability to competently proofread reports before issuing them to team leaders/supervisors
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a general understanding of heritage charters, legislation, and guidelines; (SEPPs, LEPs & DCPs)
- Flexible, confident, and well organised, along with good time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Able to work in a small team as well as independently
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Photoshop
- Client liaison; professional communication both face-to-face and over the phone
- Professional, polite, and courteous with a cheerful disposition
- Innovative and takes ownership of duties and tasks ensuring that deadlines are met, and tasks are completed comprehensively
- Hold an Australian C-class driver’s licence
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
