Operating within Cabinet and Executive Services, you will lead the correspondence team in the coordination and provision of comprehensive and timely ministerial and executive support to the Minister for Regional Development and Manufacturing and Minister for Water and the Director-General. You will also be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining administrative systems and processes to ensure the efficient flow of ministerial and executive correspondence. The position also provides support and guidance to the entire correspondence network in the department to ensure the department's written standards are of a high quality. Key duties and accountabilities: - Lead and manage the correspondence team within Cabinet and Executive Services to ensure all ministerial and executive correspondence and documents are processed in a timely manner and conforms to the requirements of the relevant Queensland Government standards. Review, develop, evaluate, improve and manage correspondence systems, processes, procedures and guidelines to maintain quality assurance standards relating to executive correspondence.
- Develop and maintain reports to monitor the department's performance for ministerial and executive correspondence. Actively lead, manage and motivate a high performing correspondence team with the aim of maintaining a strong customer focus and achieving excellence. Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to the correspondence officers throughout the department to ensure high quality correspondence, briefing material and documentation. Support the liaison process between the Minister's office and department to ensure that the appropriate processes and standards are adhered to in regard to ministerial and executive correspondence. Prepare, review and critically evaluate correspondence and related documents. Develop and foster strong relationships with key clients as well as information sharing across correspondence networks in the department, including training. Monitor service quality and recommend innovative ways of meeting service delivery expectations and high-quality documents. Determine priorities and schedules for others to achieve work outcomes by considering impact of work across other areas and supports them to achieve objectives.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
