
Customer Accounts Officer

**The role**:
We are seeking a self-motivated Customer Accounts Officer to join the Home Care Customer Accounts Team at Mile End. Joining a down-to-earth team, the role will primarily focus on being responsible for processing customer accounts and debt management.
**What you’ll do**:
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records, pricing and fee records
- Providing outstanding service to our customers and ensure support is provided
- Process account adjustments as required and investigate for resolution promptly
- Maintain records of payments, refunds, credits and billing activities
- Ensure compliance with legislation, organisation processes and policies
- Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth processes and information flow
- Support continuous improvement
About You
You will be detail-oriented with a motivation to make a difference, with strong communication skills to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable functions and processes
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and financial system skills
- High degree of accuracy in your work and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and relationship oriented
- Collaborative approach to your work and a supportive team player
- High level interpersonal skills
- Respond positively to direction and guidance
- To be passionate about supporting older people to live a Good Life
- A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
- Previous experience in home care service support or other supportive services in the community
