**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable department including all billing, handling of patient account queries, debt management, staff supervision and training, and adherence to the Sonic and Clinpath protocols. This role will suit a person who has proven experience with medical billing/accounts and who has supervised a team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to hit the ground running and join an established supportive team within a dynamic organisation.

**Duties**:

- Lead, manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable team ensuring compliance with procedures
- Monitor workflow ensuring our target levels are met
- Prepare financial reports and assist with audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow and financial performance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current policies and procedures
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Other duties as requested by Chief Financial Officer.

**Applicants should possess the following**:

- Experience (3+years) in medical billing/accounts in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience with leading and managing an accounts team
- Strong knowledge of medical billing and experience in Medical Billing Software with the ability to adapt and quickly learn new software system
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes and healthcare compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent reconciliation skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of procedures and demonstrated proficiency in accounts receivable
- Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare environment, prioritise workload to meet deadlines, direct workflow, and delegate where appropriate
- National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months
