**About the role**:
As the
**Accounts Officer** reporting to our
**Manager - Accounts & Payroll**, you will be responsible for recording high quality financial data in an accurate and timely manner. You will be working across various accounts and finance functions within a dynamic, project-based engineering environment. You will also participate in Nova’s finance and ERP implementations.

**What will you be involved in**:

- High volume processing of accounts payable, ensuring correct allocation, account coding and authorisation in keeping with payment dates
- Following up of invoices on hold
- Vendor master creation and maintenance
- Accounts receivable
- Monthly and annual closing procedures, including reconciliations and accruals process

**What we expect from you**:

- Experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation
- Experience with high volume accounts processing
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent data entry and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to gain a baseline security clearance
