**The Role**
The APS 6 Executive Office Coordinator is a member of the Administrative Operations team within Platforms and is responsible for providing professional support, services and advice to Platforms Executive Office.

You will be accountable under broad direction to perform and deliver complex administrative support work within the Chief’s Office. As the supervisor of the APS 5 Executive Assistant, you will provide guidance and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the office in a professional manner.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- Manage the Senior Executive Service office including, but not limited to back up support of diary management and meeting arrangements.
- Responding to correspondence, coordination and prioritisation of documentation and collation of material in a timely manner.
- Manage workflows and resources, prepare work area and team plans detailing measurable milestones and expected outcomes.
- Understand and identify risks, uncertainties and consider these in planning, decision-making and priority setting.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Build and sustain relationships to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
- Coordinate high-level stakeholder engagements in consultation with the Executive Office and associated work areas.
- Implement and provide advice on Defence administration policy and procedures.

The Platforms Support Team within Platforms Division is part of DSTG located across multiple sites, supporting the business, administrative and research functions of the Division.
