**The Role**
Cyber and Electronic Warfare Directorate (CEWD) is seeking passionate, motivated and solution focused APS6 applicants for the role of Staff Officer - Operations and Coordination (SO2 OPS & CO-ORD).

The primary responsibility of the position is to work closely with planners and operations staff from the higher Headquarters-level down to Unit-level to coordinate support to Operations and Exercises, and plan future participation. Importantly, you will manage this tasking through various organisational tools such as the Defence Synchronisation Tool (DST), local Unit task management tools and higher headquarters tools such as the Air Command Activity Plan (ACAP).

In the course of your duties, you will:

- Represent CEWD units at initial exercise planning conferences;
- Plan aspects of future activities such as operations, exercises and trials;
- Coordinate with Logistics Support on logistics requirements;
- Conduct timely and appropriate handover of planning and execution responsibilities for future activities to Unit leads and operations sections, prior to execution.
