We have multiple exciting UX/Product Designer opportunities available, reporting to the Head of Design.

In these roles, you will be part of a vibrant, agile team who use a human-centred design approach to design & support the implementation of exceptional experiences for our customers, partners, advisers, brokers, and employees across the Zurich business.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams as the champion of the customer voice, driving a deep understanding of our customers and partners for insight-led decisioning on solutions that meet their needs As a key member of the CX chapter, you will work with other UX and CX designers along with the Head of Design to hone your technical design craft and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and best practice development in design methodologies. This includes liaising with our regional and global CX communities across Zurich.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Understanding customer needs and business requirements to redesign and optimise priority digital experiences and processes in an agile environment
- Discovery research, covering primary qualitative/quantitative design research planning, facilitation, and analysis, as well as trends analysis, best practice and competitive scans
- Current state journey mapping to identify pain points and moments of truth, exploring viable solutions and features for experience uplift
- Developing UX strategies and visions for key customer experiences/effectively communicating those visions, concepts, and ideas to non-design stakeholders, contributing to clear product roadmaps from MVP to vision
- Designing interactions and features aligned with insights; creating user flows and wireframes that reflect an understanding of user needs and platform-specific interaction patterns
- Developing intuitive and meaningful information architecture, including relevant navigation and logical IA schemas to reduce friction and create seamless user journeys

**Important to your success -**Unlock your potential**
- 5+ years’ experience in UX/Digital Product Design roles
- Strong working knowledge of UX/UI best practices for web and app design with strong skills in wireframing and progressing from low fidelity prototypes to full fidelity UI prototypes for development teams
- A customer-led mindset, with experience building empathy with end users through research to understand their needs, pain points and jobs to be done, and the ability to move quickly from insight to action
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end design process and methodology, with the ability to effectively define, plan and prioritise design work to be done
- Strong analytical skills to develop measurement frameworks to track impact of design, and use data to drive design decisions
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to effectively engage non-design stakeholders along the design process - including communicating your ideas with sketches, user flows, prototypes, presentations or journeys
- A curiosity for new technologies and emerging digital experience trends that drives you to be at the forefront of new innovations and best practices designing with AI.
