The Education Manager (EM1) for Chisholm Online is accountable for the provision of academic quality, operational leadership, and support for the business area through the development of strategies and delivery of programs that demonstrate responsible innovation and educational excellence.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Chisholm Online Department and will support in managing and leading the implementation of educational excellence, business growth and opportunities for the department.
This position will assist in implementing initiatives to enhance the reputation of Chisholm to meet industry and community needs in online course delivery for the following qualifications
- 1. TAE40122 Certificate in Training and Assessment
2. FNS40222 Certificate in Accounting and Bookkeeping
3. BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
4. TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set
5. Other courses suitable for online delivery
The incumbent is a key member of the Chisholm Online business area and will manage teaching resources and build teacher capability, along with managing projects to implement the Chisholm Education Quality Framework that involve managing teacher currency, course validation, compliance and professional development to create a teaching centre of excellence that uplifts the student online learning experience.
**ABOUT YOU**
As the “go to” person when teachers need support and direction, the as the Education Manager, you will demonstrate sound educational knowledge to prepare and mentor the teachers in Chisholm Online business area.
**You will have the following skills and experience-**
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the education/TAFE sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage online course delivery, including overseeing instructional teams, supporting remote teaching staff and ensuring quality of online education.
- Ability to align online course content with industry standards, learner expectations, and community needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate resources in significant program areas.
**You will have the following qualifications**
- Adult Teaching Qualification approved by the VTA at an AQF6 or higher
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Relevant vocational qualifications to, or above the level required
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
