The Education Manager position is accountable for the provision of quality, operational support and leadership through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute’s Educational Excellence Framework.

This position directly supports the Manager of Business and Information Technology in managing and leading the implementation of educational excellence, business growth and opportunities that enhance the Institute’s reputation and meets industry and community needs in the course areas as designated.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress for of the Chisholm IT courses.
- Coordinate students’ needs including managing student wellbeing responses and responding to feedback / issues through delegation.
- Ensure high quality and current resources, teaching materials and assessments are used in teaching and learning activities meeting all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
- Lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients
- Engage with IT, cybersecurity, and network server employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content remain aligned with current industry standards, technologies, and employer needs.
- Foster and support strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in IT and cybersecurity sectors to continuously renew and enhance educational delivery methods and best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives focused on IT, cybersecurity, and network services, including preparing tenders and submissions that support business expansion and meet the Institute’s fee-for-service objectives.
- Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

**Qualifications required for the role**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge

- Diploma of Project Management
- Diploma of Leadership and Management
- Bachelor of Business or equivalent
