As this business sees year on year success, they are seeking to appoint an Administration Coordinator with a strong understanding of internal operational functions and general office duties. This position is responsible for providing business assistance to the Brisbane division specifically the minerals resource and coal division. The successful applicant will have proven experience in monitoring the needs of a high performing small team by coordinating and supporting the day-to-day operation of the office.

The responsibilities of this opportunity include but are not limited to:

- General office duties including maintaining stationery and kitchen requisites;
- Assistance with Travel Arrangements;
- Maintain and update filing system while adhering to the record retention rules;
- Reconciliation of payment and accounts;
- Support team members to ensure compliance of policies and procedures;
- Compiling and submitting evidence to support the audit processes;
- Nurture positive relationships with customers and vendors;
- Coordinate and deliver IT support to ensure operational effectiveness;
- Prepare monthly presentations and support meetings as required;
- Plan and deliver Brisbane office entertainment activities and functions;
- Perform office OHS responsibilities as required;
- Adhere to Brisbane Fire Emergency and Training requirements;

This is an autonomous and key role and you will be required to coordinate and communicate with staff at various levels to gain their cooperation and facilitate the successful completion of activities. To be successful in this very busy commodity trading environment you will need to demonstrate strong administration skills coupled with excellent presentation and clear communication. Previous experience with SAP and MYOB is highly advantageous.
