**The role**

In this hands-on role, you will be met with exciting challenges and opportunities to deliver accurate insights to business leaders.

You will be responsible for building strong business relationships via high quality outputs and effective stakeholder management, along with the provision of insight to help the business make informed decisions and take appropriate/ timely actions.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders across relevant business areas (primarily leadership), with a solid understanding of their strategic objectives, business operations and key drivers of performance.
- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting for various stakeholders throughout the business.
- Educate and guide your partnered Portfolio to develop improved financial literacy
- Work with other Finance team members to improve the quality of solutions and service provided to the business, with a focus on continuous process improvement
- Preparation of monthly reporting, financial analysis and developing recommendations for business to close any performance gap.
- The provision of complex financial and accounting policy advice to the business, including the analysis presentation of financial data and the preparation of briefing papers for Executive and Board.
- Preparing ad hoc analysis and modelling to support decision making.
- Project support and financial modelling of financial implications of transition to Support at Home.

**Who we’re looking for**

Someone who has:

- A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in a Finance or Accounting function, with a CA or CPA qualification.
- Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding influencing and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to adopt a business partnering model, developing relationships at Executive and Senior Manager level.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability with high attention to detail
- The ability to work cross functionally and deliver projects as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and is keen to learn.
- Natural curiosity, lateral thinking, and ability to undertake complex problem solving.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work on conflicting priorities at the same time.

**You will need**
- COVID-19 vaccination, including booster (if eligible)
- High level IT literacy, including excel
- Significant experience with accounting systems

**It’d also be helpful if you had**:

- A **current **Police Check or DCSI (If you don’t, that’s ok, we can help with this)
- Experience and/or knowledge of home care packages
- Significant experience in similar roles, preferably in the aged care sector
- Experience with Power BI
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems
