My client is a leading player in the FMCG industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality food products to consumers. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Customer Service & Replenishment Manager.
Your position:
As the Customer Service & Replenishment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the customer service and replenishment functions within their food manufacturing supply chain environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute the overarching logistics strategy to optimise operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and complete delivery of ordered products, addressing consumer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain open communication with customers through regular reporting, providing updates on their orders.
- Process retail and food service customer orders, generating credit notes for short deliveries or damaged stock.
- Resolve stock shortage issues through proactive problem-solving measures.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide on-time and accurate reporting to key customers.
- Lead the customer service team, transforming complaint experiences into positive brand interactions.
- Develop and implement efficient, customer-focused Supply Chain policies and processes to achieve service, cost, and inventory targets.
- Manage 3PL service level agreements for transport and storage, overseeing contract management.
- Oversee the Import and Export logistics process to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimise finished goods working capital to achieve customer-required DIFOT.
- Prioritise employee coaching, motivation, development, training, and performance management, fostering a highly engaged and positive working environment.
Your experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Business, or related disciplines preferred.
- Proven experience in a food manufacturing supply chain environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic and planning skills to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities to enhance the skills and performance of your team.
- Proficient stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
