**Company**
Our client is an Australian owned large player in the wholesale tile sector and has been supplying tiles, decorative surfaces, ceramic, porcelain, aggregates & decorative surfaces for decades.
They are recognised for their quality, price, lead times, diverse range, reseller network, branding, online presence, and aggressive growth in recent years becoming one of the 'big players’. They manufacturer themselves with very short lead times, which keeps them ahead of the competition in Australia. Their price points are unmatched and ensures they remain strong contenders for any commercial accounts, home builders, tile contractors/installers or resellers looking for Tiles.
They have distribution centres / warehouses in each major state and can supply Tier 1, 2 or 3 builders with any Tile requirements. They are on a strong trajectory of growth and have no plans to slow down.

**Role**
A passion for the industry, desire for a longer-term career move, eagerness to build on an established territory and driven by results is essential to succeed in this position.
We welcome someone from flooring, tiles, stone, decorative surfaces, brinks & building materials for this position. Tiles is preferred but not essential.

Your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth across the Melbourne with commercial accounts, builders, tile installers. You should be entrepreneurial spirited and relish the opportunity to work in a highly autonomous capacity. You will report directly into the General Manager and only expected occasionally in the office for meetings. It’s a rare find this position with an established client base of over 40 accounts which is already turning over great results and ensures you are well on track to hit budget and commissions from the start with the business. Your role is to maintain this established client base, as well as develop it and seek out new accounts. This role comes with extensive training in required and thorough inductions to ensure that you hit the ground running.

It's going to be a fun year ahead for our client and we are looking for a sale professional ready for an exciting challenge. You will be supported to thrive within your role. You will have the luxury of working on the road, from home, a cafe, the office or wherever suits your schedule. If the work is getting done our client has a very laid-back approach to hours.

**Skills & Experience**

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Strong experience providing tiles or building materials to builders and commercial accounts.
- Existing strong relationships with Tier 1, 2 or 3 builders is highly desired for this position.
- Understanding of commercial OR residential building products market is highly desired.
- A design, engineering or equivalent trade background/qualification will be highly regarded.
- Proven track record in sales & understanding of management tools/reporting.
- High degree of energy, self-motivation, and desire to be rewarded with your efforts.
- Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role.

The salary package is negotiable based on experience plus a car allowance/car and a lucrative bonus structure. This role is available immediately for the right calibre of professional.
