Woods & Co have partnered with an exciting new player in the architectural space, bringing premium European ceramic tiles to the Australian market. Backed by one of the world's leading tile manufacturers, this business is now looking for an experienced A+D Specification Specialist to join their growing team.

This is an incredible opportunity to get in at ground level with a design-led brand that values innovation, relationships, and high-end product knowledge. You'll be responsible for driving product specification within the project space, working closely with architects, interior designers, and builders to bring tile solutions to life.

What do you do?

  • Promote and present the brand's premium tile offering to architects, designers, and builders
  • Secure project-based specifications across the commercial and residential industry
  • Host product presentations
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of specifiers, builders, architects, and interior design relationships across Melbourne
  • Liaise with European suppliers to maintain product knowledge and align on key launches
  • Stay across design trends and contribute to brand development and positioning in the market
  • Track projects from concept through to delivery in collaboration with internal stakeholders

What do you need?

  • 4–5 years of experience in a similar A+D specification or architectural sales role
  • Strong knowledge of ceramic and porcelain tiles
  • A well-established network within the Melbourne architectural and design community
  • Sound commercial awareness, with the judgment to escalate decisions to leadership when needed
  • A go-to-market mindset with the drive to build and grow a new brand
  • Confident presentation skills and genuine design sensibility
  • Self-motivated with a start-up mindset and willingness to be hands-on
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
