**Role Summary**

The Trusts & Foundations lead is an integral manager in the Philanthropy Unit, ensuring the organisation’s sustainability and growth to ensure nobody is without lifesaving support through their cancer experience. The Trust & Foundations Lead will drive the team strategy through best practice grant writing and prospecting to achieve targets.

This NSW based organisation is offering remote working options as we are very excited to attract the brightest Trusts & Foundations skills from across the country.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop a strategic growth plan for Trust and Foundations
- Work closely with the leadership team to build high value proposals and assist with pitching
- Research and scope markets to raise the organisation’s profile and to establish a strong and evolving pipeline in a comprehensive calendar of grant leads
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with the funders to ensure they feel valued, engaged and connected to the important partnership
- Manage the Trust and Foundations specialist to develop a strong acquittal and impact report process
- Negotiate and work closely with the legal team on contracts and agreements
- Budget management of the Trust and Foundations portfolio

**Skills and Attributes**
- Proven track record in successful trust and foundations grant submission or transferable skills of strong research and grant writing
- Ability to manage and develop a grants calendar
- Exceptional written skills and the ability to develop business proposals from concept stage to conversion and acquittal
- Strong relationship, influencing, networking and communication skills and proven ability to develop productive, results-focused relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to engage high value executive and board members and donor/client style relationships in a strategic and planned manner
- Sound project and budget management skills
- Team player with positive can do attitude, maturity and confidentiality
