**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Program Lead - Foundation and University Preparation Programs to join, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Program Lead - Foundation and University Preparation Programs (UPP) at QUT College is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality curricula and student learning experiences across the Foundation and University Preparation Programs. The Program Lead will work closely with Foundation and UPP Educators to deliver units across the range of disciplinary areas included within the Programs. The Program Lead is responsible for contributing to the development of students’ disciplinary academic language and skills to ensure students are empowered to achieve success in their current and next stage of learning. In consultation with the Associate Director, QUT College this position ensures curricula in the respective programs reflect best practice in both the Foundation and Enabling spaces.

**About the QUT College**
QUT College delivers a range of programs to international and domestic students with an emphasis on pathways to QUT faculty programs. Through its two suites of programs, English Language and University Entry Programs students are able to meet entry requirements for university degree programs, as well as to improve their skills and confidence in readiness for university study.

**What you need to succeed**

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in education with a minimum five years management experience in a secondary or pathway educational context.
- Highly-developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate, build, and maintain relationships with staff, students and internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Proven experience in managing complex student cases, including the provision of relevant advice and professional knowledge of University level student centred
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills in educational contexts.
