Fundraising State Manager - NSW

This is your opportunity to have a tangible impact on youth homelessness and work with this fantastic foundation who build homes for homeless youth and provide ongoing support for homes where young people can rebuild their lives.
**Role Summary**
Reporting to the CEO and managing a team of two, this important role is responsible for all activities in the state and provides leadership and direction for all commercial and fundraising activity including the development of housing projects, corporate partnerships, events and philanthropic activity.
This is an incredible opportunity to work across a broad portfolio and develop a range of skills. Working with a range of commercial stakeholders and funders, you will take a strategic lead on all activity in NSW which includes housing projects and all revenue generating activity through a large existing corporate partnerships portfolio, events, and philanthropy. This leadership role provides the opportunity for a relationships fundraiser to take the next step in their career.
**Key responsibilities**
- Strategic oversight of all fundraising activity across NSW
- Develop relationships with new and existing corporate partners, philanthropic funders and lead on fundraising events
- Steward and nurture fundraising relationships across a range of sources, driving fundraising activity across all partners
- Oversight of the performance of the NSW office, reporting back on work across housing projects and revenue generating activity
- Work with beneficiary partners to identify and lead on suitable projects where the Foundation can build homes for homeless youth
- Identify and secure house projects in line with the broader national housing strategy
- Stakeholder management and engagement across NSW
- Develop the state budget and targets for all fundraising and commercial activities
- Work with other state leaders to drive national fundraising and commercial activity
- Contribute and provide direction to marketing and communication plans for all fundraising activity and housing project campaigns
- Manage and develop a small team providing mentorship and support
**Skills & Attributes**
- Experience in relationship fundraising with a background in stewarding and developing partnerships
- A background in leading on fundraising strategy
- A diverse fundraising background with the ability to grow revenue from a range of funding partners
- High level project management skills
- Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to deliver donor engagement plans and strategies
- Experience in working to, and exceeding financial targets
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication management skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders
- A flexible self-starter who is resourceful and uses their initiative
- Ability to manage a small team with a passion for leadership
- A motivation to work towards ending youth homelessness
