**Your Organisation**

**Your Role**

Working closely with the team’s Administration Assistant and using Xero and Excel as your predominant systems, your role as Accounts Officer will be responsible for:

- Reconciling accounts and company transactions
- Processing quarterly and end of year financial processes including BAS, Super and Tax
- Performing Accounts Payable & Receivable tasks such as invoicing and retrieving outstanding accounts
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Onboarding new staff into the accounts system
- Processing and maintaining the company payroll
- Being a key point of contact within the company on financial and accounting matters for staff and customers
- Assisting with financial forecasting and budgeting in conjunction with the Managing Partners
- Providing financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organisation
- Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.

This role will be for 20-25 hours per week, ideally between 8.30am-12.30pm Monday to Friday, however flexibility around this can be discussed.

**About You**

You will bring experience in general bookkeeping/accounts administration and understand how to process quarterly and year end BAS, Super and Tax processes.

Ideally you will have some exposure to processing a small staff payroll as well as accounts payable and receivable.

Experience with Xero is preferred and the ability to attend the office for a few days across 4 or 5 days is required.

You will be a friendly, down-to-earth personality who loves contributing your skills to small business
