We are a group of not for profit charities working together to create life changing opportunities for young people. Our main charities include:

- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia - long term mentoring for disadvantaged young people
- Allcare Community Support - NDIS Youth Support Services
- Stride Education - in school workshops in social, emotional, resilience and careers
- Melbourne Youth Bus - mobile youth outreach for homeless young people
- Streetlight - youth outreach for young people operating out of Adelaide S

Whilst working independently as separate entities, our programs are closely connected. Our community of organisations give young people and their families more opportunities for support and a chance for a positive change in their lives. Our head office is located in Bentleigh East, with programs offered around Australia.

**THE ROLE**

We’re looking for a hyper-organised and enthusiastic Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for everything from financial record keeping to supporting with reporting.

A smooth and compliant financial operation is critical to the success and ongoing viability of our organisations, this position is paramount in carrying out the processes and activities that support this.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role gives you the opportunity to work with a supportive and passionate team across a number of charities.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

We’re looking for someone who enjoys bookkeeping, extremely organised and loves working in a fast paced environment. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team, and be able to work across multiple programs at the same time.

**YOU’LL ALSO HAVE**:

- Previous bookkeeping experience and relevant qualifications
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Xero and or MYOB
- A keen desire to work in a value-based non-profit environment
- High level administration and interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per year

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
- MYOB: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)
