**The Role**
Reporting to the Deputy Director of the National Codification Bureau (NCB), the position of Codification Services Manager is responsible for planning, organising and controlling the work of contracted staff engaged in codification activities to ensure contract deliverables are met.

The position also acts as the international representative for the Technical working group as part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Codification System (NCS).

You will be responsible for the following:

- Leading and managing NCB Codification Services contract staff to achieve organisational objectives.
- Ensuring NATO Stock Number (NSN) and NATO Commercial And Government Entity (NCAGE) creations and modifications are actioned within NCB KPI timeframes
- Managing the contractor support team to ensure they meet their obligations in accordance with the codification services contract.
- Monitoring contractor attendance.
- Liaising with the contract coordinator to resolve issues.
- Producing monthly reports for contractor outputs.
- Reporting monthly KPIs in accordance with the contractual requirements.
- Validating fortnightly invoices received.
- Liaising with both internal and external organisations, authorities and clients relating to codification matters.

**About our Team**
The Australian National Codification Bureau (NCB) provides codification services for clients across Defence and interacts with a range of external clients both locally and internationally. The NCB is responsible for promotion of the NATO Codification System (NCS) within the Defence logistic/business environments, advice and assistance to clients through interpretation of codification policy and data integrity.

The NCB is a cohesive team of APS and contractors and is responsible for the governance and development of the end-to-end process of the creation and modification of Item Identification records for Items of Supply (IOS) and the creation and maintenance of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) records for manufacturers and suppliers.

- Ability to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with Defence and internationally agreed security requirements.
