LC4S Branch is seeking a highly motivated and skilled communication technical officer who is able to undertake and complete complex technical communication activities in compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

As a Technical Officer within LC4S, you will provide detailed technical advice in relation to state of the art LC4 systems and contribute to day to day team planning and management. You will also be able to work autonomously and display high levels of initiative and judgement when working on technical problems and shifting priorities.

Working within the Land Technical Regulatory Framework, they will provide specialist technical advice during Vehicle Platform and System Integration, Engineering Change, Materiel Certification, Test and Trials, Fault Finding and Rectification, which all contribute to ensuring that LC4 Materiel Integration risk is minimised so far as is reasonably practicable before entering into service with Army.

The day to day tasks will include prototyping and integration activities and development of technical artefacts such as Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Instructions and User Handbooks.

- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of relevant processes, packages, products and equipment.
- Assess whether technical packages, reports, processes, products and equipment performance meet the specified requirements, provide recommendations for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure safety aspects of Defence capability are considered and incorporated into technical activities and tasks.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
