We are seeking an experienced Coordinator - Occupational Safety and Health for our Work Health, Safety & Injury Management Team based in Perth

**Coordinator - Occupational Safety (Medical/GOV)**

**Location: Shenton Park, PERTH**
**Pay rate:$45-50 per hour + Super**
**Role length
- 3 months**
**Hours
- Full time 38 hours per week**

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator - Occupational Safety and Health for our Work Health, Safety & Injury Management Team based in Perth for an immediate short-term 3 month temporary appointment. This role will be based in a medical related field and experience in this area would be beneficial, but we would love to hear from anyone who is suitability qualified.

**ESSENTIAL**
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of occupational safety and health, injury prevention/workers compensation programs within a multidisciplinary service organisation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to enable effective communication with external bodies and all levels of staff.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated facilitation, training and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills including the ability to work under time constraints without supervision.
- Possession of a current C or C-A class driver's licence and ability to travel within the WA region as required including overnight stays
- Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
- You must be FULLY vaccinated against COVID19 with 3 doses to work in a medical environment
- You must be able to pass a police check as one will be required within 3 months

**DESIRABLE**
- Attainment of, or substantial progress towards, formal qualification in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Experience in either a medical environment would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
