***About the role**
As a Corporate Account Manager, you will maintain a portfolio consisting of existing and newly signed corporate accounts and grow the membership base of these accounts through working with client decision makers and the Corporate Sales Team. Developing strong relationships with a strong emphasis on business retention and expansion and must be able to positively influence decision makers attitude towards private health insurance.
**Key responsibilities**
**The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:
- Achieve sales targets in Health products as set for the Group Sales Corporate Portfolio including new memberships and premium revenue.
- Organise and assemble and deliver expenses, intelligence reports and other month end reports to manager.
- Analyse portfolio sales results and highlight opportunities to maximize penetration
- Prepare account and sales plans, strategy and tactics, which are measurable with time frames to capitalize on portfolio opportunities.
- Perform needs analysis and deliver sales presentations to clients.
- Maintain and expand on Group Sales Client Data Base (including new clients)
- Introduce and/or implementation of new health products and services.
- Manage client issues and expectations surrounding HCF Service Deliverables, claims etc.
- Ensure that Sales Logix is up-to-date including client details, sales activities, calendar of activities, sales visits, special offers and any other relevant activity
- Ensure that a 12-month calendar of activity is factored into sales and/or account plans for all major clients
- Work closely with Marketing in the preparation of collateral and with special projects as required.
- Assist with the preparation of request for tenders as required.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Must hold current Drivers Licence
- Previous proven experience within Corporate sales/Account Management
- Good PC Skills, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills and able to relate to people at all levels
- Able to work with mínimal supervision & work independently
- Effective understanding and practitioner of the collaborative sales process.
- Good knowledge of the Health Insurance industry, its procedures and policies.
- Excellent fund and competitor product knowledge.
- Ability to create empathy and build strong relationships with key personnel
- Ability to perform a needs analysis at a senior level and acquire in depth knowledge of the industry the company is competing in.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Effective portfolio planning to ensure servicing of existing group & corporate clients
- Territory management tools such as SalesLogix
