ABOUT THE ROLE

The core objective of this role is to build and maintain strategic relationships with hospital groups and key accounts which deliver sustainable growth, elevate the Boston Scientific brand in the ANZ market through creating mutual value, and align strategy with customer needs and industry trends This role will also build strong relationships with influential corporate administration, including key economic and clinical decision-makers across the ANZ hospital landscape.

WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?

- Regularly engage with existing and new customers, building the BSC brand with hospital executive.

- Negotiate and obtain contractual commitments for the company's products, while assessing and collaborating on opportunities to create mutual value.

- Identify opportunities for potential customers and construct effective strategies in order to position Boston Scientific as a preferred and trusted supplier.

- Understand opportunities to accelerate adoption and penetration of new technologies in current and potential corporate accounts.

- Lead and influence the deal process with internal and external stakeholders.

- Work with the state government, and major employer officials, hospitals and physician clinics to increase penetration of the company's products.

- Develop and maintain contacts within the industry to obtain important commercial insights, remain abreast of competitors' activities, and/or gather information on specific laws or legislation.

- Take a lead role in partnering with each Business Unit to identify, develop and execute appropriate value-added programs for accounts and buying groups.

- Primary contact for key account and hospital groups for procurement and hospital administration.

- Responsible for the sales growth in designated segments (e.g., managed healthcare, etc).

- Build effective relationships both internally and externally in order to achieve business goals.

- Effectively communicate both formally and informally at all levels of the organisation as well as external customers.

- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organisational objectives.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience within sales and/or marketing management.

- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across multiple levels of an organisation.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen; ability to collect, analyse and deliver business information.

- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise work in order to positively impact business performance.

- High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.

- Demonstrated success in sales or corporate deals.

- Comfortable presenting to all audiences.

- Proactive and results focused with a resilient, flexible approach.

- Ability to work well in a team setting or autonomously.

- Tertiary education, preferred not essential.

- Makes sure all parts of a role are completed in full, within deadlines, including follow up plans and paperwork in accordance with Boston Scientific policies and quality requirements.
