**About the Role**
The role of Accounts Officer (AP & AR) - Events Officer is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all assigned transactions within agreed trading terms and the monitoring of adherence to company’s policies in relation to those transactions.
The successful person will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have a keen eye for detail, an ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision, together with good time management skills and the ability to work with event operational teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Processing supplier invoices within agreed trading terms and dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing client invoices and managing the client ledger
- Processing, financial administration and reconciliation of corporate credit cards and business credit cards and related transactions
- Processing of authorised employee expense transactions
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of cash log, internal cash transfers and updating cashflow daily
- Updating the event reconciliations daily (actual vs budget) and liaising with event team leaders when required
- Ensure Tramada debtors are reviewed and reconciled
- Ensuring that policies and procedures are maintained always
- Delivering a high standard of communication and customer service to internal and external customers and colleagues
- General office and filing duties
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
**Skills & Responsibilities**
- Minimum of two years’ experience and skills relevant to general finance duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of SAP, Tramada, Concur and/or Events Pro systems is advantageous, but not essential
- A knowledge of the travel, events industry is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to liaise confidently with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Thorough, accurate and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Accurate data entry and numeracy skills
- Self-motivated and well organised
- Dependable, timely and punctual
- Focused on deliverables and deadlines
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service
