**Position Summary**
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team for 3 days a week. This role can be based either in our North Sydney or Melbourne office offering hybrid working.
You will provide HR operational support and advice to the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) teams and cover a broad range of tasks such as HR data analytics and reporting, local and global employee movements, promotions and exits, and being a key point of contact for HR related enquiries. The role will be involved in a range of HR initiatives as well as obtaining exposure to all aspects of HR management in the employee lifecycle.

**Role and Responsibility**
- Ownership of the employee onboarding for all new starters including international transfers
- Second line (advanced) support to the HR Shared Service Centre, to provide professional, comprehensive and timely advice to managers and employees on a range of general HR queries such as leave management, terms and conditions of employment, and HR policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with immigration legislation by creating and implementing internal processes, to include updating employer sponsorship, education of managers and tracking and monitoring of new/existing visa holders.
- Handling data and reporting requests for HR, managers, and to address business data needs
- Be responsible for the end-to-end parental leave process, documentation, and liaison with Payroll
- Support any restructures or organizational change initiatives within the business
- Respond to any flexible working requests and work with manager and employee through to a resolution
- Keep abreast of HR best practice and employment legislation and in doing so contribute towards the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures and assist with promoting and communicating changes to the business
- Understanding of WHS legislation and supporting Return to Work processes and communication
- Participate in ad hoc AU & NZ projects, including communication and implementation of initiatives
- Ensuring the HR intranet pages are kept up to date
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the manager from time to time
**Skill & Experience**
- Related degree qualification in Business, Management, or Human Resources (desirable)
- 3+ years' experience of working within an HR Department
- Experience of working in technology or warehouse (desirable).
- Understanding of how to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Ability to use initiative to progress the HR ANZ function and add value to the business.
- Previous experience of servicing and supporting Managers and employees remotely
- Experience of administrating benefits
- Knowledge of AU & NZ immigration legislation (desirable)
- Good written and spoken English skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels.
- Computer literacy (including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Excel)
