**Job Description**:
Part Time role (3 days or 22.8 hours per week) paying $55-60k + Superannuation
The HR Advisor provides support to the Head of HR - Europe and the Senior Management team within the CAPA business. This role is key to the provision of a seamless HR service, ensuring that all people related activities are executed in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with business, people or wider organisational goals. This role will be closely aligned to the HR community, whilst supporting managers and employees in the client group to which they are assigned.
Working within a matrixed environment the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on HR processes, best practice and policy to all colleagues and managers within their client group and be responsible for the correct handling of all ER issues.
In addition, they will support the delivery of the people and organisation related programmes and initiatives including, but not limited to, performance and talent management, succession planning, reward and recognition, employee engagement, organisational development and change management.
The role requires strong collaboration and connectivity with HR Shared Services, HR Advisors, HR BP’s and other HR specialists including Reward, Learning and Talent Acquisition to bring the best of collective expertise to the business as one global HR team.
**Job Summary/Responsibilities**
The HR Advisor is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
- Build solid and trusting partnerships with respective management team members to support the delivery the HR service
- Provides guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters, identifying opportunities and anticipating risks, escalating them to the HRBPs/Head of HR, Europe or legal team as appropriate.
- Acts as a trusted advisor on all people and organisation related topics, supporting and embedding organisational change, and ensuring that new people initiatives are championed in their client group.
- Ensures that HR processes are executed in alignment with expectations and that process touch points are properly owned/executed including employee lifecycle i.e. on/off boarding, on and off-cycle changes to terms and conditions, colleague engagement etc.
- Enables managers to become self-sufficient with regard to day-to-day employee matters.
- Ensures that employee data is of the highest quality and contributes and understands the people metrics for the assigned business area, including headcount, performance, talent, attrition, spans of control, engagement etc and uses data to inform HR actions and priorities.
- Undertake project work as and when required.
