**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic **Future Students Officer** to join our team and be the first point of contact for people interested in studying at Southern Cross University.

As part of a high-performing, customer focused team, you will be helping prospective students find their path to success at Southern Cross University (SCU). Your friendly, accurate and timely responses will guide future students through everything from eligibility to student life, making sure they feel supported and confident in choosing SCU.

**What you will be doing**:

- Supporting future students: Providing accurate, friendly advice about courses, admissions, fees, and more, helping people take the next step in their education at SCU.
- Managing Information: Use our CRM to track and manage enquiries making sure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Team Collaboration: work with different areas of the university to provide answers to the more complex questions, always putting the student first.
- Engaging with the community: Assist at events like Open Days, where you will share your knowledge of what makes SCU a special place to study.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the local community. If you live in the Northern Rivers or surrounding areas and want to help prospective students, find their path, this role is for you.
- A relevant tertiary qualification, at Associate Diploma level and subsequent experience in a team-based customer service environment, or equivalent.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service and engaging with people.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience using CRM systems or a willingness to learn.
- An enthusiastic, team-oriented approach with commitment to Southern Cross University’s values.

**Salary and benefits**:
Our staff benefit from flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models, generous parental and carer’s leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs and professional learning opportunities.
- Full-time. Continuing Position
- Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
- HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $72,947 - $78,337 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
- The total remuneration package is up to $91.654.
