About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Curtin team as an Enquiry Management Officer Be the first point of contact for international students and global partners, responding to enquiries via email, phone, face-to-face, and social media, covering everything from prospective course leads to post-application support, all while delivering exceptional, professional service.
In addition to international future students, you will also connect with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Curtin registered agents, pathway partners, sponsors and student families, helping them discover the benefits of studying at Curtin and guiding them through the application process. You will build meaningful relationships with international students, global recruitment agents, and staff across Curtin's worldwide campuses, including opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across our global campuses.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Respond to enquiries from students, agents, and external partners (including pathway partners and sponsors) with clear, professional communication.
- Provide accurate advice on course syllabus, entry requirements and the admissions process through face-to-face, email, and phone interactions.
- Support international students to resolve issues by applying established guidelines, escalating or referring enquiries where appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of campus life and student support services, including information about Curtin's global campuses.
- Conduct campus tours for prospective students and key stakeholders.
- Assist with application follow-up and conversion activities as directed.
We are looking for (selection criteria):
- Strong customer service skills, with experience in a busy, front line customer service environment and a commitment to achieve a high level of client satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, combined with the ability to work independently when required.
- Highly developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders, with cross cultural sensitivity.
Desirable:
- Conversational fluency in one or more languages other than English.
- Experience working in a tertiary education environment, particularly within international student services.
- Experience with Customer Service Management (CRM) tools.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
- Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction
Global Curtin
Global Curtin has responsibility for University wide leadership, planning, support and coordination of Curtin's international activities. This includes the development of alliances with universities overseas, student recruitment and admissions, student sponsors, alternative pathways for non-qualified applicants, policy formulation, and monitoring and quality assurance of transnational education activities.
