**About the position**

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team who will provide support to all HHG offices, ensuring related administrative and operational activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring high level support including:

- Primary debt collection - collecting debts and taking/ receipting payments of invoices into the system
- Processing cheques and other payments
- Preparation of daily deposits for both the trust and office accounts
- Weekly credit control meetings with the Chief Financial Officer
- Liaising with fee earners on trust and other collection issues
- Review of fee earner reports to ensure sufficient availability of trust funds and following up with clients as and when required
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Chief Financial Officer

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following:

- **A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk / Credit Controller**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Previous knowledge and use of practice management systems (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft systems
- Excellent communication skills and client service skills
- Enjoy working a part of a team, and learning new skills, when required
- Able to think outside the box and use initiative
- Able to juggle conflicting deadlines
