**About the Division**
The Office of the Chief Executive coordinates the Executive Group of the Academy. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Academy Board and Department Secretary, leading the Academy to achieve its objectives, functions and related outputs. The team provides advice on the overall strategic direction of the Academy, ensuring priorities are managed to meet the objectives of the Academy.
**About the Role**
The Executive Assistant is responsible for the administrative tasks of the Office of the CEO, supporting executives as required to ensure effective delivery of Academy objectives. This role requires strong planning, organisation and coordination skills in order to support and manage the administrative requirements of the Academy's Executive Leadership Team. A high level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Academy, is critical to the role.
**Capabilities**
To be successful in this role, you must excel at managing deadlines and timeframes, have a strong understanding of workload prioritisation and demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high performing team. To that end, the Executive Assistant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to be flexible to adapt and support delivery of business priorities across the remit of the Office of the CEO. As a valued member of the Office of the CEO, the applicant will understand sensitive information and appreciate the confidentiality required of the role specific to the purpose of the Academy and the Office of the CEO.
**Desirable**Qualifications and Experience**
Experience as an Executive Assistant, in a similar administrative role or a relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
