Technical Partners Health (TPH) is an essential provision of technical support crossing the whole of Griffith Health, spanning across three integral streams:
- Technologies, Operations and Logistics (TOL)
- Laboratory and Preclinical Experience
- Simulation and Practical Experience
Our team of 50+ technical specialists supports teaching, research, clinics, and learning within purpose-built facilities across multiple campuses.
We are currently seeking an **Operations and Compliance Support Officer** to join our **TOL team**. This role provides key support across Health Group PC1/PC2 specialised facilities, teaching and research labs, Clinical Trials Unit, and other clinic activities. Working closely with TPH Managers and Team Leaders, you will provide essential project and compliance support to ensure smooth operational outcomes.
In addition, the Operations and Compliance Support Officer will play a critical supportive role in the following aspects:
- Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of TPH through provision of effective compliance support to maintain facility induction, health and safety compliance and equipment service records.
- Undertake financial transactions using the University’s finance systems (eg. raise purchase orders, payment and invoice requests, including stationary supplies).
- Maintain and manage Group contact lists and assist with updates to TPH SharePoint sites.
- Keep Health and Safety compliance records up to date, including data entry, spreadsheet management, and record filing.
- Assist in preparing both routine and ad hoc reports and correspondence.
- Help monitor team budgets and assist in compliance monitoring, reporting, and project support.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, and uphold University policies including equity, inclusion, and health and safety.

You will also have:
- An associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Experience in PC1/PC2 facility environments and familiarity with lab equipment and maintenance support.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive) and SharePoint content management.

**What we can offer**
This is a continuing, part-time (60%) position and is primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
**Salary Range**
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW level 4 salary range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $107,456 - $114,617 per annum.
