Mick Price Racing is seeking an Office Manager/HR Manager, onsite and full time at the Cranbourne Training Centre. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and positive person to join our team. No two days will ever be the same, as the role varies from day to day. We are a relaxed environment and whilst horse racing experience is not essential it will be highly favoured on for this role.
Our motto is "get the job done during the day, and you won't have to work from home" (Nor should you or is that expected). Those who are looking for remote work, will not be considered. This is very much an onsite job role.
The Office Manager role covers a variety of tasks and key responsibilities including
- Staff Management/HR - employment contracts, Workcover, payroll
- Co-ordination of day to day office admin, including mail, banking, data entry
- Horse Racing admin including ownership, licensing and import/exporting of horses.
- Accounts payable & receivable and finance reporting
- Liaising with stakeholders - Principle Racing Authorities, Race Clubs, Owners and outside suppliers
- Maintain CRM data base, predominantly Ardex
- Travel & Dairy management for both trainers
- Property portfolio Management & Personal Assistant duties
- Ideally 2 + years in a similar role
- Highly developed organisational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have the ability to manage and prioritize tasks, working autonomously when needed.
- Ability to think on their feet and problem solve in all situations
- People person who enjoys building relationships and committed to delivering quality services to our clients/staff
