About the Role:
We are delighted to be offering this newly created role as a Technical Training Manager where you will be leading the way with a new and exciting program. This position can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

You will be reporting to the Director Customer Service, ANZ, and be primarily responsible for driving our new apprenticeship program nationally. You will be developing our talented new workforce of electricians and mechanical fitters by looking into their competency identification, improvement and delivery of training programs for the Customer Service Business.

You will create structure and standardisation around learning and development, beginning with the new apprenticeship program and technical onboarding program for our new hires. You will take these foundations and build upon them with more detailed training needs analysis, identifying and closing training gaps, and formalising stronger career pathways for our team

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your main duties will include:
- Facilitate, coordinate, and schedule the training needs and solutions using a range of delivery methods including digital, face-to-face and on the job learning activities- Manage the new Apprentice Program and support their training, development and career growth within Dematic- Prepare training content and all required material for all training sessions- Create a skills and competency matrix for key role within Customer Service team- Monitor and evaluate training standards and outcomes and recommend improvements, including using feedback from learners and stakeholders for maintenance and continuous improvement of training processes and products- Provide training within the Australia and New Zealand region across numerous sites

Skills and Experience:
- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (required)- Previous trade qualification and industry experience would be advantageous (electrical licence preferred)- Extensive experience in creating and delivering technical training- Proven work experience managing apprentices, apprenticeship programs and government funding- Experience in implementing on-the-ground training programs- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops etc)- Ideally experience in a similar role or industry- Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication skills- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively

About You:
You will possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with at least 3 years practical site experience. You will also be prepared for some travel between Monday and Friday to our diverse range of sites throughout Australia.

You will have the demonstrated ability to work under limited direction with mínimal supervision to achieve desired outcomes. You are a forward-thinker, always using your intuition, and we welcome your ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising work, managing your time effectively and efficiently to meet set deadlines.

With a confident communication style, you have the proven ability to think on your feet and proactively find solutions to issues as and when they arise.

Enthusiasm and the ability to form relationships with a wide variety of people are important assets to have, and you will possess the ability to identify stakeholder requirements, modify training plans in response to identified needs, and evaluate employee satisfaction.
