An exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant has become available at Patient Support Systems, a family-owned company based in Belrose, Sydney, specialising in innovative air pressure systems for aged care, home care, NDIS and hospital markets.

About the Role:

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of key business processes by assisting in the stock-management, servicing, processing and transport of proprietary goods as well as the maintanence and development of backend software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising wih management to accurately record both inbound and outbound stock and freight.
  • Liaising with end users and distributors to coordinate orders and deliveries.
  • Maintaining the integrity of stock, order and invoice procedures.
  • Assisting with the in-house servicing of faulty mattresses, control units, technical devices and other soft goods (full training provided).
  • Delivery and setup of mattresses, control units, technical devices and other soft goods (full training provided).
  • Maintaining a clean and well-ordered warehouse and office space on a weekly basis.
  • Conducting end-of-month stock takes.
  • Assisting with key filing and documentation procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • The availability to work a minimum of three days a week
  • A full driver's license.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Some previous experience is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, transport personnel, and customers.
  • Some proficiency in MS Office, Word and Excel is needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional presentation and strong work ethic.
