This is an exciting time to join Dematic. We are a global leader in the material handling industry with over 11,000 employees worldwide and over 600 employees in Australia and New Zealand. We partner with our customers to design, build, implement, and support automated system solutions for warehouses, distribution centres, and production facilities. Some of our largest customers are household names in grocery, pharmaceutical, and parcel delivery, and in the e-commerce online shopping businesses.

We have an exciting opportunity for a technical expert to repair and configure electronic equipment including mobile computing devices sold and serviced by Dematic. This role will manage the receipt and dispatch of equipment and liaise regularly with the customers to ensure all repair expectations are met.

This position is temporary full time for a fixed term of six months and is based in our Belrose office.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Repair electronic equipment in the service centre and test to ensure it is in line with quality and service standards
- Ensure all equipment is functional and correctly configured to latest current standards
- Ensure all paperwork and reports are complete and submitted on time and are correct
- Review and understand previous repair history and act accordingly
- Accurate diagnosis, accurate documented description of repair work undertaken
- Report on possible parts issues, safety concerns or customer issues
- Keep up to date with current product range and repair techniques and ensure technical skills honed
- Provide feedback, support and guidance where required to new staff members

**About You**
- Technical aptitude and prior experience in mobile computer repair and configuration
- Tertiary qualifications in an electronics or computer discipline highly regarded
- Ability to analyse/trouble shoot problems under pressure
- Good understanding of wireless products and networks
- Good communication skills
